Beef Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • Lean ground beef:                                                          1 lbs
  • Tomato Basil pasta sauce:                                           4 cups
  • Uncooked lasagna noodles:                                        6
  • Shredded cheddar cheese:                                          1 (15oz)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese:                                     2 1/2 cups
  • Hot water:                                                                         1/4 cup

 

 

Method:

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce.
  3. Spread one-third of meat sauce in a lightly greased baking dish; layer with 3 noodles and half each of cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Repeat procedure; spread remaining one-third of meat sauce over mozzarella cheese.
  5. Slowly pour 1/4 cup hot water around inside edge of dish.
  6. Tightly cover baking dish with 2 layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  7. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes; uncover and bake 10 more minutes.

Burritos

Ingredients:

  • Ground beef                                        1 lbs.
  • Chopped Tomato                               1 1/2
  • Onions medium                                  1
  • Canned re-fried beans                      1 (16oz)
  • Chili powder                                        1 tbs
  • Paprika                                                 1 tsp
  • Onion powder                                     1 tsp
  • Garlic powder                                     1 tsp
  • Cumin                                                   1 tsp
  • Cold water                                           1/2 cup
  • Flour tortillas                                        8-12

Method:

  1. Mix Brown meat and onion together.
  2. Drain off any fat.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Heat through.
  5. Spoon the meat into tortillas.
  6. Wrap and eat.

Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • Cream cheese softened                8 oz
  • Sugar                                                2/3 Cups +3 Tablespoon
  • Large Eggs                                      3
  • Vanilla                                              1/2 Teaspoon
  • Sour cream                                      8 oz.
  • Biscuits (preferred choice)           1 Packet

 

Method:

  1. Crush the biscuits, soak into butter, and layer it at the bottom of the well greased pie plate.
  2. Beat cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, 3 eggs, and 1/2 teaspoonvanilla with mixer until smooth.
  3. Pour into pie plate.
  4. Bake 22 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees F. Turn oven off. Remove cheesecake and cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine 3 Tablespoons sugar, sour cream, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over warm cheesecake and return to oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Cool and refrigerate.
